P2. School

Well I looked back at my blog. I would have to say I am about right where I thought I would be. I'm passing everything, and I think I'm around the eighties like I said. Yep that's all I was hoping to accomplish during the year. I guess something to add are that I am doing exactly what I knew I needed to work on, and that's doing all of my homework on time. If I could restart this year I would probably try a lot harder and try to get 90’s. I just tried to basically pass and I would never study. I mean I try in school, but I don’t truly try my best. If I really wanted to I could probably be in the nineties. It just requires trying and studying and all that jazz. I’m not a big fan of studying. I honestly rarely study. I think the only times I study are when I have an exam, and that’s only because my mother makes me. She watches over me like a hawk if I don’t study she yells at me. I really don’t like getting yelled at. I usually want to yell back and that makes everything a whole lot worse. I have a short temper if I feel like I’m right about something. I hate getting yelled at because it gets my blood flowing and fires me up and makes me want to yell back. I am a whole lot more chill. I really don’t like getting fired up and yelling. It’s just not what I’m about. If I had a choice I would have to choose to be calm and chill and not fired up and mean. It’s pointless to get angry and red and mean. I like being a nice dude who likes to chill, so yeah school is pretty cool.

P1. Television

I really don't watch that much TV. I usually only watch it for various sport events like Football games, Hockey games, and Skateboard competitions. I mean I go to the movies here and there as well, but that's not really watching TV. It's like a meeting place of things to do so I wouldn't consider it as watching TV. I also will watch it at night when I can't sleep. I mean the only thing I really watch that is a TV show is SpongeBob Square pants. It really is the greatest show in the whole world I would recommend that if you never seen this show then watch it every day of your life. It's so good! I mean who wouldn't want to live in a pineapple under the sea? The real thing is that you have to not overthinking the whole fact that sponges can’t talk and that they usually don’t have legs or arms or a pet snail named Gary. Other than that there isn’t much I watch on TV. I usually watch the show River Monsters on Animal Planet because it helps me fall asleep. There are a bunch of positives and negatives of TV. Some TV shows can also teach kids stuff like Dora the Explorer. I mean who doesn’t love Dora and her talking backpack and her talking map? The other famous kids show is Sesame Street. You got all the big names in kid shows. I mean you got Elmo, Oscar, Big Bird, The Cookie Monster, Ernie and Bert, and Snuffaluffagus. They pretty much taught kids everything they needed to know about having fun, and being nice, and not being mean. They also would have special guests that would be celebrities to reinforce the message that Elmo and his friends would tell you.

O5. Writing Articles

How do I go about writing my articles? The biggest struggle is coming up with a article topic that is good. They have to be factual, well supported and of course entertaining. I always have to think of an article topic that is good. It's hard though. The writing itself isn't all that hard. Finding the information isn't that hard either. I mean honestly since we live in Alden and we have like 23 people in this class it's really hard to find article topics that aren't taken. I mean this week I wrote about skateboarding because I didn't have anything else to write about, and I enjoy skating a lot. Writing a blog about my article writing is pretty hard to do as well. I mean if I have a hard time thinking of an article topic then how am I going to write this? I mean to sum up the whole article writing thing it's just a struggle to find a topic to write about. Then you have to research your topic for a while, and then write at least 300 words. You're better off writing more than 300 because it makes it a lot easier to get your point across and you can provide detailed information. My advice is if you're close to 300 and you are already done with your article, go back and add a lot more information and a lot of details. This will put you well above 300. The word count couldn’t really be a problem if you’re writing about something you actually like and know a decent amount about. You just write and write when it’s something you know stuff about. If you have an article topic that you have no idea what to write about make sure you get a topic that you are at least a little familiar with.

O4. My Father is.

My father is probably my best friend. My dad always knows what to say when I'm sad or upset. My dad is probably one of the only dad's that will play video games with me. He is probably the funniest guy I know. His sense of humor is the same as mine. I think I got the comedy gene from him. He always supports anything I want to do. He supports how I like to skate and he helps me out if I need to buy new gear for skating. My dad is always a phone call away. My dad makes all my friends want to come over and chill when he's home. He doesn't get mad that often. There is never a dull moment when we are hanging out. My parents are divorced, so I go back and forth from house to house. My mom's for four days then my dad's for four days. It was really confusing at first, but it works pretty good now. With this schedule my favorite days are when I'm at my dad's. Then the four days I'm at my mom's I'm always just waiting to go back to my dad's house. I mean yeah my mom's house is alright, but when I'm at my dad's it's just me and him. We eat order pizza; make pizza rolls, and basically anything pizza. It's a bachelor pad at his house, and I love it! We just chill and talk about stuff and eat cereal late at night. It's a pretty chill time. I would hate to only see him on the weekends like most people see their dad. It would break my heart because he is my best friend. There isn’t anything that could make me not want to go to my dad’s house. To sum this all up my dad is the greatest person in the world and definitely my best friend.

O3. Choice

Here we are again. The choice blog. I have so many choices to make. I could write about anything in the world. I'm just not too sure what I want to write about. Throughout this course I've written about a lot of things. I think I'll just do what I usually do for a choice blog! I'm going to tell a story!

The year is 2013 and our main character is a guy name Berry. There a few things Berry likes to do. One of his favorite things is go to school so that is where this story is going to take place. Berry woke up to get ready for school. The only problem is something isn't right. He wasn't exactly sure what it was so he just did his usual morning routine and got on the bus. He arrived to school and went straight to his locker. He didn't stop to talk to anyone on his way there. He gets to his locker and checks his pocket. He can't find his favorite pencil! He is at a loss of words. He doesn't write with any other writing utensil besides that pencil. He had to suck it up and ask a nearby kid at his locker. The kids name was Bobby. The only thing that Berry didn't know is that Bobby only does a favor unless he gets one back, so when Berry took the pencil from Bobby it was his biggest mistake.

Berry finished the day and went to give the pencil back to Bobby. The only thing is Bobby wasn't there, and there was a note on his locker that said "Meet me in the bathroom." Berry was very hesitant to go down to the bathroom, but he sucked it up and headed down there. When Berry went into the bathroom he found Bobby. Bobby told him all about his plans and how they had to meet somewhere private.
That’s when Bobby dropped his books and Berry picked them up and handed them to Bobby which made them even!

O2. College

After High School I have absolutely no idea what I want to do. I might want to go to college, but I don't know what I would go for. I have always wanted to be a cop, a dentist, or a counselor of some kind. If I don't go to school then I have no idea what I am going to do. It would probably be the best thing for me to go to college, so I should go because I want a decent future. I want to be able to take care of my family and myself. I couldn't really do that if I worked at McDonald's. I mean the best thing that would happen is me winning the lottery because I would be rich and not have to work. I feel like that would be boring because you would never have to do anything. At all. You would have a butler to make you food, a driver, and a person for everything. I feel like someone who is given all that wealth at one time would make bad decisions compared to someone who worked for all their money. Now back to my actual life. I really think I should be going to college, and I would have to take out loans and stuff. It would be a struggle but it would be completely worth it. Then I would also meet a bunch of people and get some college friends. Then I would have some gatherings with my new friends. This would probably be a great time! If I stayed at the college it would be really cool too! I think that many people, who don’t go to college don’t go because they have no idea what they want to do like me. Basically my plans are to try and go to college once I figure out what I want to do with my life.

O1. Current news topic

So this current topic is about Tattoos. I really like this because I want a tattoo and this opened my eyes. I have wanted a tattoo ever since I can remember. This article made me think more about my tattoo idea. I need to make sure that it is something I really want because it'll be there forever, and a lot of people have been getting them removed in recent years. A bunch of my friends have recently gotten tattoos and they are all tattoos that mean something. They aren't stupid ones like a girlfriend’s name. That is probably the worst thing you can get. Ever. If you break up it would be really awkward and it would make your chances of finding a new girlfriend a real lot harder. The tattoo I was thinking about getting as soon as possible is the word "Family" right above my heart in cursive. It would be under my shirt so I wouldn't have to worry about anyone seeing it. It's also a good tattoo that I could have forever. It means something to me, and most people would respect that. It’s kind of weird if you think about a biker. They have all these crazy tattoos that are of skulls and guns and stuff like that. What are they going to do when they get old? They probably won’t be riding with their gang and the tattoos would be really odd. Imagine a gang member with tattoos on his face and head. I mean most gang members won't make it to be old, but the ones that do will have a lot of weird looks when they are elderly. Basically the thing I got from this article is that if I am going to get a tattoo I need to make sure it is something I want forever because removal is expensive and not always effective.
